Welcome to Dr Duggleby & Partners
FLU & COVID BOOSTER PROGRAMME:
We are now contacting over 65's and under 65's with a chronic disease by text or telephone inviting them to book an appointment. Our vaccination programme starts on Tuesday 5th of October and the venue is one of the Grammer School Buildings in Northallerton (Near the large tesco).
Following yesterday’s announcement from the JCVI and Government about the covid booster programme we are planning how we will deliver this locally. Eight Hambleton GP practices will work together again to deliver this from a site in Northallerton in a similar way to the initial vaccine programme which we successfully ran earlier in the year. This will also include our flu programme, enabling co-administration of the vaccines as per the national advice. We will also be able to provide vaccines to those who still need their 1st / 2nd doses, and for those who are severely immunosuppressed that now require a 3rd dose to complete their initial course. We will follow the JCVI cohorts 1-9 for the booster programme, vaccinating our most vulnerable communities first. You will receive a text message, telephone call or letter when it is your turn. Please don’t contact us to ask further questions at this stage, we are awaiting further details and will provide more information shortly.
BLOOD TUBE URGENT UPDATE:
If you have a routine, non-urgent blood test booked with Stokesley Surgery, we may be contacting you to reschedule. This is because of a global shortage of the tubes we use when we take blood samples that's affecting the NHS nationwide. Urgent tests will still go ahead. We are sorry for any inconvenience. All non urgent blood tests will recommence after 17th September.

Stokesley Health Centre since 1 April 2013 has been owned by NHS Property Services. It opened more than 40 years ago and has gone through various changes since opening.
As well as the general practice the health centre also has a large community team which work from the health centre this includes the district nursing service, health visiting service, school health service, midwives and mental health services.
The Health Centre is also used by various community and hospital services which enables patients to be seen locally rather than them travelling to the local hospitals.
The aim of the practice is to provide a helpful and friendly service while continuing to improve the quality and range of healthcare services that we offer to our patients through the Practice.
