Welcome to Stokesley Health Centre

Between 8am and 9am the Admin Staff are only dealing with GP appointments for that day.
If you have any queries please could you ring after 9am, if you before 9am you will be asked to call back.
Appointments
If you wish to see a specific Clinician we advise booking an appointment in advance however each Clinician has face to face and telephone appointments that are kept for each of their working days unless they are Duty Doctor, you can ring at 8am to request one of these appointment slots but we cannot guarantee you will get one.
Every day we have a triage list for new acute problems or emergencies where you will either receive a telephone call or face to face appointment.

Pre-bookable online appointments
We would like to inform you that pre-bookable face-to-face and telephone consultations with the Doctors and some Nurse appointments are now available to book online through our online services. Please note that when booking a telephone appointment slot that the call will not be at the time you book. The clinician will aim to phone you within an hour window of the time that you book.
If you are not set up with an online account please download our online registration forms from our website, fill out your details and return the completed forms with some photo ID. Alternatively you can collect a copy of our online registration form from the front desk any weekday between 8.30am and 6.00pm.
Monthly DNA
During the month of August, 107 patients booked GP and Nursing appointments but did not attend. These missed appointments included specialist clinics that have waiting lists as well as normal appointments.
Altogether these missed appointments added up to 31 hours of wasted clinic time.
If you have booked an appointment but can no longer attend, please contact the Health Centre to let us know as soon as you are able so that other patients can book in.
Thank you

As well as the general practice the health centre also has a large community team which work from the health centre this includes the district nursing service, health visiting service, school health service, midwives and mental health services.
The Health Centre is also used by various community and hospital services which enables patients to be seen locally rather than them travelling to the local hospitals.
The aim of the practice is to provide a helpful and friendly service while continuing to improve the quality and range of healthcare services that we offer to our patients through the Practice.
